Could you be eligible?
Veterans and their families may qualify to join VFW Post 4093 or the Auxiliary. Here's how eligibility works.
VFW Membership
Two things need to be true, together.

Honorable service
An Honorable or General (Under Honorable Conditions) discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces, or you're currently serving.

Qualifying war or campaign service
Service in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters.
This is typically shown with a DD-214, an authorized campaign medal, Hostile Fire or Imminent Danger Pay, or Korea service of 30 consecutive days or 60 nonconsecutive days.
VFW Auxiliary
Not eligible yourself? You may still qualify through a family member.
- Available through a qualifying parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, or spouse who meets VFW eligibility
- Step- and adopted relatives count the same as biological
- Applicants must be 16 or older
- The qualifying veteran doesn't need to be a current VFW member, just eligible
How joining works
Membership happens through the state and national VFW, not directly here at the Post. The official eligibility tool is the best way to double check your specific service record: VFW eligibility guide or the Auxiliary eligibility guide.
We don't collect DD-214s, discharge papers, or Social Security numbers through the form below. That documentation is handled securely, directly with a membership representative.
